I was hired by the Town of Fort Erie to complete a branding and web design project for their updated transit system. The branding was to complement the existing Town brand colours but incorporate the concept of transit linking multiple communities together.
The website was developed to be a base for route schedules and trip planning for transit users in the Fort Erie area. Maps and schedules are available in both digital and downloadable formats.
The Town of Fort Erie recently expanded their transit services and decided to brand Fort Erie Transit and give it it’s own identity.
As part of the rebranding and expansion of Fort Erie’s transit service, the town needed new maps, bus stop signs, Fast Pass cards and a brochure design. All printed collateral and environmental displays were designed to incorporate the new branding and create a cohesive approach to Fort Erie Transit’s communications.
Along with the branding project needed a website that could be used to access schedules and route maps, as well as display alerts for route changes.
A route planner was integrating into the site using Fort Erie Transit’s bus geo tracker, and Google Maps were used to help riders create personal intercity trip plans.
